Featured Fanart: Waiting for Zelda Wii

This week our featured fanart is “Waiting for Zelda Wii” by deviantART artist LunarMew.

So with the new Skyward Sword trailer revealed at the Game Developer’s Conference last week, talk of Skyward Sword has erupted again all over the Zelda community. With all the new info and rumors and theories circulating about once more, I can’t help but feel that the sword girl is not getting nearly enough attention. This piece here, however, certainly does the mysterious sword girl justice, with a soft and almost ethereal painting style that is both smooth and beautiful. I for one can’t wait to learn more about this lovely character. What do you guys think?

New: I just came back today to find the very same artist has also given the mysterious new “Jester” some attention too. If only I had caught that sooner. Tell me what you guys think of this piece as well.
