Famitsu Reveals Three New Playable Characters For Hyrule Warriors

Just yesterday the official Hyrule Warriors Twitter was teasing that we would be shown a new character, and without missing a beat, Famitsu has given us not just one character, but three! And the headliner for these new characters is none other than Sheik! Who are the other two, you ask?

In addition to Sheik being revealed as a playable character, we have also discovered that the patriarch of the Gorons, Darunia, and Princess Ruto of the Zoras are playable as well! It appears as if Darunia is the character the Hyrule Warriors Twitter account spoke of. And as if that wasn’t enough, according to Nintendo Everything, Famitsu is also going to reveal details concerning new weapons for Impa and Lana. Collecting Gold Skulltulas will also somehow play a part in the upcoming game.

Details regarding this new information are rather scarce right now and all we currently have to go on is this tiny scan from Famitsu. However, rest assured that we’ll continually be watching for these new updates and will report them as soon as possible!

It seems that the flow of new information for this title has shifted from Skyward Sword to Ocarina of Time. Could we be seeing even more Ocarina of Time content soon? I’ve really been wanting Sheik and a playable Zora, so this news just made my morning. What do you think?
