Famitsu Magazine, the most popular gaming magazine in Japan, has published their review of Majora’s Mask 3D in their latest issue, and it’s won an incredible score of 9/9/9/10, or 37/40.

The way this works is Famitsu hires four different reviewers for each game, in order to get a much more informed and balanced opinion. So 9/9/9/10 means that three reviewers gave the game a 9 out of 10, and one gave the game a perfect 10 out of 10.

Here are all of Famitsu’s review scores for this week:

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D (3DS) – 9/9/9/10
God Eater 2 Rage Burst (PS4/PSV) – 9/9/9/9
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round (PS4/XBO/PS4/360) – 8/9/9/8
Terraria (PS4) – 8/8/8/7
Fuuraiki 3 (PSV) – 7/7/8/7
The Keep (3DS) – 7/7/7/7
Tappingo (3DS) – 7/7/7/6
Otoko Yuukaku (PSV) – 7/7/8/6
Excave: Unmei no Mugentou-Hen (3DS) – 7/7/6/6

Famitsu has a great track record with the Zelda series, since The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the very first game to ever get a perfect 40/40 from Famitsu, and since then, Wind Waker and Skyward Sword have both gotten a perfect score as well. Only 22 different games have ever gotten a perfect review from Famitsu, and very few have gotten as close as 37/40, so this review for Majora’s Mask 3D is absolutely stellar.

What do you guys think? Do you like Famitsu’s reviews? Should Majora’s Mask 3D have gotten a lower score, or perhaps something even higher?

If you’re interested in looking at the actual reviews in detail, they’re available in this week’s issue of Famitsu.
