Explore Outside Hyrule’s Borders With This New Glitch for Breath of the Wild
Posted on July 08 2020 by Heather Beard
Have you ever wanted to leave Hyrule and see what’s beyond Breath of the Wild‘s borders? Now you can with this new glitch discovered by YouTube user ThornyFox. A showcase video by Gaming Reinvented gives detailed instructions on how to accomplish this feat. There are a few things that you will need to have accomplished before attempting the glitch; you will need a horse registered at a stable, you will need to have unlocked an apparatus shrine (the Mayhem Agana Shrine in the Necluda region of Hyrule is a good example), you will need the Travel Medallion that is part of The Master Trials DLC, and you will need to be able to set up the “Moon Jump” glitch.
The instructions given in the video are extremely detailed and easy to follow, and if you do them correctly, you’ll be able to reach past the borders of Hyrule! What can you do once you “escape”? Well, you can continue to explore of course! You can also play with items that will now float in mid air. Be careful using the travel medallion once you’re away from the borders, as you might not be able to travel to it again if the cursor can’t reach it on the map. If you don’t want to follow a video tutorial, Gaming Reinvented have made written instructions that you can follow too.
Will you try exploring outside of the borders of Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule? Sound off in the comments below.
