The Super Smash Bros. series has featured several standout Zelda stages throughout the years. From Melee’s Hyrule Temple to Brawl’s Bridge of Eldin, the Zelda stages are often among the ones I fight on the most in each respective game.

With Super Smash Bros. for Switch set to release this year, there are plenty of other stages the developers could include from Link’s adventures. Considering the Hylian Hero’s updated design, I fully expect there to be at least one battlefield from Breath of the Wild. I’m calling it now: a Divine Beast that moves and changes the stage layout throughout the match. It’s too perfect!

I also wouldn’t mind seeing a state similar to Skyloft, with a floating platform that takes us across Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule Field.

Nintendo shouldn’t focus only on Link’s latest quest, though. You know me: I’m always game for more Twilight Princess-inspired content. It’d be a long shot, but a stage set in the Palace of Twilight would be right up my alley. Additionally, we’ve never had a full-fledged 2D Zelda stage. A battlefield that recreates the SNES aesthetic of A Link to the Past could potentially offer some unique gameplay opportunities.

What about you, though? What Zelda stages would you like to see in the new Smash game? Let us know in the comments below!
