Daily Debate: Which Race of Hyrule Should Have a Standalone Game?
Posted on April 30 2022 by Kat Vadam
We all have our favorite races that we encounter as Link romps around Hyrule. The Zora, the Gorons, the Rito, and so on. Each with their own purpose and their own quests. Yet, the games are always about all the races, and one Hylian boy’s encounters with each one.
Sometimes, though, I wonder what it would be like to play a standalone game solely revolving around one of those many races our hero has encountered through the ages. For the Gerudo, it could be a desert heist against the Yiga. For the Koroks, it could be the little spirits keeping all the icky monsters out of the Lost Woods. Or, even a game starring the Kokiri or the Sheikah or the Twili.
Which one should it be? Which race of Hyrule should have a standalone game, and what should that game be about? Let us know in the comments below!
