Daily Debate: Which Piece Of The Triforce Would You Rather Hold?

The Triforce has played a huge part in The Legend of Zelda series, as we have seen Link and Ganondorf battle it out for it’s ultimate power over and over again. Each piece of the Triforce has represented the characteristic that our protagonists and antagonists values most.

Ganondorf, with his lust for power, was granted the ability to hold the Triforce of Power. He gained absolute power, becoming vastly more powerful than any mortal, affording him invulnerability and an unlimited source of mystical power.

Zelda gained the Triforce of Wisdom, which imparted on her divine wisdom, untold mystical abilities, including the ability to heal others. With the Triforce of Wisdom, Zelda was able to make the right decisions, making her wiser than any mortal.

Link is the holder of the Triforce of Courage. This piece of the Triforce is more than just a symbol of his exemplary courage, this piece also grants untold mystical abilities, including the protection against magic, among other speculated abilities, such as being able to master any weapon that Link comes into contact with.

When the Triforce comes together, it bestows the Ultimate Power to it’s bearer. But what if you could only hold one piece? I would choose the Triforce of Courage. I’d want to follow in Link’s footsteps, stepping bravely into battle with the Trifore of Courage within me!
