As I have gotten older I have found myself seeking out the things that make me feel nostalgic for my childhood days. Sitting in the back of my parent’s car trying to play my GameBoy Color by the light of each passing streetlamp or huddling around our family TV playing The Wind Waker with my brother. There have been many video games that have stood the test of time over the years, but are there any Zelda games that have not held up?

I recently started playing the GameCube version of The Wind Waker again and other than the graphics being a little crunchy I feel like it has held up nicely over the years. I have a hard time saying that for the original Zelda title or The Adventure of Link though. Both are great games in their own right, and I really enjoy the first game, but when you sit down and play them they just feel old. That being said, old games are still fun, but if I were to choose an older Zelda game to play I would go with something a little more recent, if that makes sense. I feel like if there is one older  Zelda game that has held up despite its age would be A Link to the Past, it has become one of those timeless titles that has stood the test of time.

What do you think though? Is there a Zelda game that has not held up over the years? Let us know in the comments down below.
