Daily Debate: Do You Wish Nintendo Developed a Zelda-Inspired DDR Game?

I still have my Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix game for the Gamecube, and I played the game so much the dance pad is basically useless. I remember spending countless hours practicing the songs on higher difficulties to get perfect scores while really enjoying the remixes of iconic Mario tunes. Dancing and stepping in time to each jam with my friends was how I spent a large part of my weekends for many years growing up. While I enjoyed Mario games though, I was never attached to them in the same way that I was with the Zelda series. Which got me thinking — why on earth didn’t Nintendo make a Zelda DDR game?
Imagine stepping to the rhythm of classic tunes like The Wind Waker‘s title theme song, or something more simple like “Saria’s Song.” The tunes would need to be more structured and include different tempos to prevent them from getting too repetitive, but ultimately I think a Zelda DDR game developed by Nintendo could have been really successful, which makes me all the more sad that it didn’t happen. Would you play a Zelda DDR game? Let us know in the comments!
