If you are anything like me, you also like to dive right in and be one-hundred-percent involved in only one game at a time. I’m not the type of player who can switch between massive titles at once, especially with the Legend of Zelda series. With the little free time that I have, I like to savor first-party titles with priority and with all my dedication and attention.

I’ve noticed that in recent weeks I’ve been having a hard time getting really involved in a new game, and that’s why I’ve been working on titles that were a little stagnant in my collection. I took the opportunity to really finish Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and now I’m going through the side quests that I left half-done. I also alternate between games with online mode for some unpretentious playthroughs, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as well as revisit some titles on my forsaken PlayStation 4.

What about you, reader? Knowing that in just a few days we will be diving into a long-awaited adventure that will consume a lot of our time (in the best way possible) for several months (or even years, as Breath of the Wild was for me), do you manage to occupy your valuable gaming hours getting involved with games that are just sitting there on your collection shelf? If yes, which ones? Maybe you’re in the middle of another major title, and that makes you anxious too. I’m curious, so let me know in the comments below.
