Cracked’s “If Video Game Characters Had Free Will”

There are some video games that make you wonder if the actual characters would have chosen a different destiny if they had the choice. Would Link go riding off happily into the sunset and retire from fighting evil or is he too much of a hero for that? CRACKED had some ideas on what would happen if the characters had their own free will. Along with Zelda, there are various other games represented by 23 pictures including Mega Man, Mario and Pac-Man. Take a look at a couple of the pictures after the jump.

I had fun looking at these pictures. Thinking about what these fictional characters might be thinking if they had their own thoughts makes playing these games much more fun.
