Cool Zelda Time-Lapse Art

Shanna May is a British artist whose specialty lies in traditional mediums like oil paints and acrylics. In the past, her art has included numerous portraits, original works, and also a fair number of video game dedications. Her most recent work is a very nice oil painting of the three Triforce bearers, and she has been kind enough to give us a glimpse of its creation with a great time-lapse video. Jump inside to see!

Now, I am no artistic expert, but I think this is a great painting. It isn’t perfect, and she did base the designs around official artwork, but the end product is beautiful and I love her use of the medium. I especially like the way she painted the auras around the characters, and I think she did an excellent job with Zelda’s face.

If you like the painting, you can purchase the original… but it is a bit pricey. If that price is too much for you or you want something smaller, there are also prints and posters available for much more affordable prices.
