Communty Round Up #8

It has been quite a few weeks since the last community roundup has hit Zelda Dungeon. After a rather eventful month of July, it appears that the Zelda community has hit a wall in August. Perhaps it is the end of the Summer slow down that seems to hit the community annually, or perhaps it is just the overall negative view for Zelda’s future after what many consider to be a very disappointing E3 2008. All in all, below are a few of the highlights of the last month.

In terms of Zelda news, there has been very little that is worthy of mentioning. Many websites have updated on an interesting Zelda book that is soon to released based on ‘The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy’. It seems rather interesting and if you are interested in reading more about it, check out our friends at Zelda Elements for some more information.

Looking around the Zelda online ring of sites, I did notice a common trend in recent weeks, Video Walkthroughs. Several sites have begun posting video guides for several of the Legend of Zelda titles. Listed and linked below are a few of the sites and their respective game videos.

Here at Zelda Dungeon we are just 5 days away from celebrating our 7th birthday. Caleb and I have gathered quite a bit of content and we are still working on putting the final touches on a few other pieces. Also, like I mentioned in the previous post, we have a special gift for those long time Zelda Dungeon viewers. Be sure to mark that day on your calender and check back at Zelda Dungeon since it will be a one day event.

Today will most likely be the last update until the 19th. So until then, why not join at the Zelda Dungeon forums, also known as The Dark World. I very rarely put an advertisement in for our forum, but while we gear towards the birthday, why not check out the boards and meet other Zelda fanatics, just like you.
