Combine Your Mind With This Jazz Fusion Cover of the Song of Storms

Zelda music is often covered and remixed into various genres, but perhaps the most commonly remixed track is the Song of Storms. It’s dulcet tones are wonderful for mixing into other genres, and Laura Platt on YouTube has done just that. Laura has mixed the Song of Storms into a sweet jazz fusion cover, and it’s quite the relaxing piece. Her use of instrumentation and percussive instruments sets the image of falling rain firmly in the mind of the listener.

I’ll personally admit, I didn’t hear the Song of Storms after the initial thirty seconds. In fact, I was strongly reminded of Secret of Mana for some reason. It felt very familiar. Nevertheless, the cover was excellent and it will now be part of my relaxing music collection on YouTube.
