image Last week’s Collection Spotlight showcased items that many of us wish we could have but will probably never see again. We saw hundreds upon hundreds of items as well as record breaking thousands upon thousands of comments. This week exhibits a much smaller collection but still very unique. 14-year-old Aaron is a relatively young and new collector who has a vast amount of our favorite games on virtual download. Hit the jump to explore Aaron’s collection more.

Hello, I am 14, and I started playing Zelda when I was around four years old when my parents bought a GameCube, Mario Kart: Double Dash, and The Legend of Zelda – Collector’s Edition. My siblings, my mom, and I started looking through the collection and found Ocarina of Time. We started it up, and were hooked. My mother would read the text, and my older brother would play. Thanks to that I gained a favorite franchise, and learned how to read. I decided to start collecting just this past year when I got my Four Swords manga and Hyrule Historia. Fast forward to Christmas, I got a Master Sword, an ocarina, and a Hylian Shield, and I was inspired to start collecting.

    Future Addition:

I’m working on a Shadow Link costume, and I’d like to get the rest of the manga collection.

    Weekly Collection Selection:

This week’s Collection Selection is going to feature two items. The first is based off of Aaron’s future addition. The Legend of Zelda Manga is a wonderful literary interpretation of our favorite hero in green. These books can be purchased in the complete set of 10 or by individual book.

The second is a personal pick due to many comments asking where and how to get this. This is truly a work of art and in my opinion a must-have for any collector. The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Poster is my favorite item in my collection and it is not a pricey item either. I have seen many posts from excited fans who received these and added them to their collections. Also, this week’s selection is a nice breather for everyone’s wallets after the pricey items from the past couple weeks.

This is just one of many available, but I just included this to act as a jumping off point for further searching. These posters come in many varieties. Happy hunting and I hope you find an addition that makes your collection even more unique.

In closing I ask, would you like to see your collection spotlighted on the website? Do you want to share how you got into Zelda and show off the items you are proud of owning?

Send me an email at tyler@zeldadungeon.net. Include some pictures, a little background of who you are, how you got into Zelda, your first Zelda game, a listing of the items you have now, what you hope to own in the future, and your favorite item.

Please do not be frightened or discouraged when you see these showcases. I’m receiving emails from collectors who are hesitant to have their collections featured even though they are quite good.

Also feel free to comment on whatever you like. A personal favorite of mine was the ocarina, how about you? What type of items would you like to see in the Collection Selection? List it below and I will attempt to find it for sale!
