250px-Twins_(Ocarina_of_Time)Hello, Zelda fans. This week’s Collection Spotlight is unique because it shows off twin brothers, Max and Alex. Not only do they collect games, but they also make their own items and have Etsy shops where anyone can buy them. Hit the jump to see everything these twins have in possession!

Hi, I’m Alex, and my brother, Max, and I are big Zelda fans. We are 18 years old and have been fans of Zelda since The Wind Waker came out. When I was seven or eight years old, my parents got the kids in my family a GameCube. They bought the one with the Collector’s Edition Zelda disc and they got The Wind Waker also. I don’t know how many times I’ve played all the way through that game, but I have almost every nook and cranny of it memorized. I also got The Minish Cap for my Game Boy Advance and have played that one through multiple times as well.

This past summer we decided to grow our Zelda collection. We bought all of Nintendo’s major systems and even own a Wii U now. We think its awesome! We purchased a majority of the Zelda games and only have to get a couple more. The only games we are missing are Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, and Skyward Sword. I hope to get the rest of the games and expand the art collection that I have made. My favorite item in my collection has to be the King of Red Lions that I created last year. He’s a one of a kind so far!

We both have Twitters advertising our shops so if anyone here wants to follow for special deals then that would be appreciated! My Etsy shop’s twitter handle is @videogameminiat. Max’s is @CrazyCreations2

Weekly Collection Selection:

This week’s Collection Selection is extremely unique. As aforementioned, our spotlighters also have Etsy stores where they sell homemade items like the ones shown up above. If you are interested you can visit their stores here and here.

These are just a couple of items the twins have for sale, but I just picked these favorites to act as a jumping off point for further searching.

Happy hunting and I hope you find an addition that makes your collection even more unique.

In closing I ask, would you like to see your collection spotlighted on the website? Do you want to share how you got into Zelda and show off the items you are proud of owning?

Send me an email at tyler@zeldadungeon.net. Include some pictures, a little background of who you are, how you got into Zelda, your first Zelda game, a listing of the items you have now, what you hope to own in the future, and your favorite item.

Please do not be frightened or discouraged when you see these showcases. I’m receiving emails from collectors who are hesitant to have their collections featured even though they are quite good.

Also feel free to comment on whatever you like. A personal favorite of mine were the homemade items, how about you? What type of items would you like to see in the Collection Selection? List it below and I will attempt to find it for sale!
