WP_20140211_11_50_31_Pro20140211120136 This week’s Collection Spotlight proves that Zelda has connected people from all over the globe. This time we travel to India to meet Nishant Tripathi and his collection. He is very modest about his collection however I thoroughly enjoyed his collections and stories. Jump in to meet him and see what he has to offer us this week.

I’m Nishant Tripathi from India and today I wanted to share with you my modest collection of Zelda items. First of all I would like to thank you for creating a haven for Zelda fans like me to visit from all over the world. Thank you so much.

The first Zelda game I ever played was Phantom Hourglass. I know it isn’t exactly considered a masterpiece but boy was I hooked! I went on to play Spirit Tracks, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, Link’s Awakening, Ocarina of Time 3D, A Link to the Past, The Minish Cap, A Link Between Worlds and now I’m currently playing The Wind Waker. I hope to get to the Wii games soon.

My collection started with the Zelda Game Boy Advance SP. It was the most beautiful console I owned. I then aspired to one day have boxed editions of all the Zelda consoles and on the way picked up a few delightful little trinkets as well. Just yesterday I added the final piece, a boxed Phantom Hourglass DS.

Hope to keep on adding little things and completing my collection with boxed editions of all Zelda games too.

    Weekly Collection Selection:

This week’s Collection Selection is in response to a post from last week’s article. It was a simple request to find a complete in box version of the gold cartridge Ocarina of Time. Keeping it short and simple you can find two links here and here!

These should act as a jumping off point for further searching. Happy hunting and I hope you find an addition that makes your collection even more unique.

In closing I ask, would you like to see your collection spotlighted on the website? Do you want to share how you got into Zelda and show off the items you are proud of owning?

Send me an email at tyler@zeldadungeon.net. Include some pictures, a little background of who you are, how you got into Zelda, your first Zelda game, a listing of the items you have now, what you hope to own in the future, and your favorite item.

Please do not be frightened or discouraged when you see these showcases. I’m receiving emails from collectors who are hesitant to have their collections featured even though they are quite good.

Also feel free to comment on whatever you like. A personal favorite of mine was his Wii U, how about you? What type of items would you like to see in the Collection Selection? List it below and I will attempt to find it for sale!
