Ever since its release last March, Breath of the Wild has received critical acclaim from many sources. But that isn’t to say that the game is not without its faults. The folks at Commonwealth Realm recently looked at some of these faults in the debut video of their Deadly Sins series.

Commonwealth Realm analyzes Breath of the Wild through a sins system, in which each flaw is is given a weighted sin score depending on its severity. In addition to smaller, more forgivable flaws, a game can receive something called a deadly sin. Receiving seven of these deadly sins means that, as the Commonwealth Realm describes it, it’s game over; the evaluation will end, and the game will be considered worthy of “condemnation.” Luckily, Breath of the Wild doesn’t reach that point.

The points brought up in the video are valid, as Commonwealth creates a fair criticism of the game in question. There are a lot of things that Breath of the Wild could have done better, such as implementing a better weather system and adding enemy variety. I will say that the video does somewhat neglect the weapon system, which I would consider a deadly sin.

Aside from the ones in the video, what deadly sins would you give Breath of the Wild? Do you think they should have counted the weapon system as a deadly sin? I look forward to reading your thoughts in the comments below.
