At Zelda Dungeon, we love to show off the talents of the Zelda community, whether it be composing remixes, crafting awesome artwork, cooking real-life versions of recipes, showcasing amazing cosplay efforts, or creating brand new dungeons for fans to try out. One area that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves though is the world of pottery. Crafting figures using clay is not the easiest thing in the world, but this video from BQN AJA showcases how it should be done.

In his previous video, BQN AJA hinted at making a figure of Link that could hang from a surface. With a rocking The Legend of Zelda background track, BQN AJA shows off his skills and adds intricate details such as Link’s boots, cap, tunic and belt. This is accomplished using a range of different tools and an extremely steady hand. He paints his figure using water-based acrylic paint and even assembles a sword as a nice finishing touch!

Admittedly, Link doesn’t have any facial features, but overall the figure is quite cute. The overhead camera gives us a great view of the entire process and by the end, I’m sure you’ll have a new appreciation for this art form.

So, what do you think of this clay Link figure? Have you ever made a Zelda-themed model in a similar fashion? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
