Caption Contest 171: “You’re not the fairy I’m looking for.”
Posted on July 02 2018 by Rod Lloyd
Howdy, all my favorite people! It’s Monday once again, meaning that we’ve got another grand spankin’ new Caption Contest ready to go. For the past few weeks, we’ve been highlighting some of the coolest aspects of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The game’s official unveiling at E3 was just dripping with new and returning content, and there have been so many great screenshots released online since. One of the fighters returning to the series is Young Link. This little tyke hasn’t part of the roster since Melee, so imagine all the things he’ll be seeing for the first time.
Last Week’s Contest:
Link may have seen a Guardian last week.

And here are our non-photo caption winners:
- Kim Mathews: “CALL ME ZELDA ONE MORE TIME”
- Morto Mente: “Link got ‘Norted!”
- Jeremy Gibson: “Ryuuga wagateki wo kurau!”
- Corey R: “#JUSTICE4WALUIGI!!!!!”
- asmith: Me: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is just a remaster of a port.
Link: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is NOT a remaster of a port!
This Week’s Contest:
What are the chances this fairy says “Hey” and “Listen”?
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another…and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
