Buy Mario Kart 8, Get The Wind Waker HD Free!

In just under a month Nintendo will be running a promotion where you can get a free download game, including The Wind Waker HD, if you purchase and register Mario Kart 8. You may already be thinking of Wii U Virtual Console games, but the games you’d be able to choose from under these promotions are full Wii U games!

Yup. Buy-one-get-one free Wii U games. The games you can choose from are excellent, too: New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, The Wind Waker HD, and Wii Party U. You can purchase Mario Kart 8 in any of the available ways, too, which include physical, digital download, or in the Wii U Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle. You just need to register the game with Club Nintendo between May 30th and July 31.
Unfortunately I still don’t own a Wii U somehow, but considering I’d already be getting Mario Kart 8 if I had one, I think being able to get another one of my favorites, Pikmin 3, would be fantastic. But as a Zelda fan, The Wind Waker HD is a really compelling option. This might just make me get a Wii U this summer before the promotion runs out.
