A new Hylian currency on deviantART

Rather than jingling around a giant’s wallet filled with rupees, would you prefer Link carrying these crisp Hylian banknotes? Unlike paper money, rupees can be found through a variety of ways, by either smashing pots, defeating enemies, doing a bit of lawn service or even shooting them in a gallery, to earn even more rupees! Not to mention that brief  jingle of a rupee hovering over Link’s head.   Jump in to see the rest!

Created by deviantARTist G33k1nd159153, these gorgeous looking Hyrulian bills, though solely wonderful art, make a fantastic representation of what a modern Hylian currency would like while still being referred to as a rupee. Featuring much detail such as a “Federal Reserve Bank” triforce stamp, along with a Miyamoto signature and much more, these bills are about as close as it gets to a legitimate form of paper currency.

Although the characters on these banknotes appear to be from different Zelda titles, they certainly seem to suit the design and color of their rupees. They do look pretty neat. On that note, would you mind using this Hylian currency? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
