A Link Between Worlds Nintendo 3DS XL Hitting Some Walmart Shelves Early

This Friday marks the launch of the spiritual successor to A Link to

the Past. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Nintendo has opted to

release a special edition variant of their Nintendo 3DS XL line. Although it’s

slated to come out this Friday, some retailers have been jumping the gun

and have started to set them out on display early.

Don’t go rushing to your local Walmart just yet, though—although there are units on display, users of popular gaming forum Cheap Ass Gamer are reporting that they have been denied purchase. So it seems that Walmart just has them sitting there, taunting eager 3DS aficionados.
