A few weeks back, Nintendo released Jump Rope Challenge for free on the Switch eShop. Created by a small group of Nintendo developers while they worked from home in Japan, the game allows players to simulate jumping rope with just their Joy-Con controllers. Jump Rope Challenge has been praised for its simplicity and charm, and it’s been seen as a great way to stay active in these weird times.
Nintendo just released a free update to Jump Rope Challenge, which adds new costumes, backgrounds, and features to the game. Zelda fans will now be able to dress their bunny avatar in a familiar green cap and tunic, obviously inspired by the series’ hero Link. Costumes inspired by Super Mario, Metroid, Splatoon, and Animal Crossing are also part of the update.
You can download Jump Rope Challenge right now on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game will be available for free as a “limited-time release” until September 30th.
