Check Out This Excellent Cello Cover of the Goron City Theme
Posted on July 22 2018 by Sean Gadus
The Gorons are one of the staples of the Zelda franchise, often making their home in Death Mountain. The burly, rock-eating creatures are often portrayed as a lovable and friendly, and they often give Link a hand in his adventures.
CelloBassett’s cover of the Goron City theme from Breath of the Wild captures the playful, almost comic nature of the Gorons. In this arrangement, the cello is joined by several percussion instruments, which bring out the nuance of the song. This song has a slower tempo than many high tempo Zelda songs, which helps builds a connection between the song and the slow moving but powerful Gorons.
