That’s right, if you read the title above, Zelda Dungeon is going to get hands on with Ocarina of Time 3D. Through our press contact with Nintendo of America, we’ve been graciously invited to take part in a demo of the 3D remake of Ocarina of Time. I’ll be flying out to San Francisco this weekend and will get 45 minutes of hands on time with the Zelda title this coming Monday. To say that I’m excited would be a grave understatement. This is a big deal for me personally as even in our site’s 9+ years of existence, we’ve never had any direct connection with Nintendo of America. I’m delighted that they reached out to me and I sure hope this is the first of many partnerships in the future.

I’ll be providing my impressions of my experience soon after I get a chance to play the title. While there are restrictions preventing me from taking game footage, any new media that is provided to me by Nintendo will be posted here at the site shortly after. I’m currently unsure what to expect from the demo. Is it going to by a similar demo to the one shown at the Game Developer’s Conference? Will there be any new content to show? What new material will Nintendo release after the demo? These are all questions that I just cannot wait to find out, and you all will know soon after I do.

Ocarina of Time 3D is scheduled for release on June 19th here in the US, with release dates of June 16th in Japan and June 17th in Europe. Be sure to stay tuned here at Zelda Dungeon for all the latest news on Ocarina of Time 3D.
