Tri Force Heroes has been out for almost two months now and in a recent interview with Game Informer, Eiji Aonuma and Hiromasa Shikata answered a few questions about the true identity of the Hero seen at the very beginning of the game, the idea of a Naked costume that was to their disappointment not added to the game, and the desire to make a multi player Zelda game. During the interview the pair spoke quite candidly about the American…

A change of garments and tunics is imminent in the upcoming Tri Force Heroes. According to a recent interview from Game Informer, game director Hirosama Shikata reveals how Link’s newest sense of fashion will have more to do with upgrades than just his appearance. Take the jump for more information!

One detail about Tri Force Heroes that was given to the Zelda fanbase in the E3 trailer is that the game takes place in a very fashion-conscious kingdom. All the residents wear flamboyant clothing and accessories and so do Link, Link, and Link. (See what I did there?)

In an interview with Game Informer, Tri Force Heroes‘ developer, Shikata…

The Legend of Zelda series is known for its several iconic elements, with the majority of the games featuring the vast world of Hyrule. We know currently that Triforce Heroes, the new Zelda title for the 3DS, will not take place in this legendary setting. Additionally, Zelda U has not confirmed the setting of Hyrule, so it is entirely possible it will feature a different world. Game Informer published an article discussing the other worlds present in Zelda games, showing…

With the announcement of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes during Nintendo’s Digital Event, many questions have arisen. We have done our best to keep you up to date as we get the answers to the questions we are all asking. What kind of gameplay mechanics can we expect, what exactly do the outfits do, and is there a single player mode? So far all of these questions and more have been answered. But what about some of the…

Since he joined the Zelda team back in 1998, Eiji Aonuma has become quite the legend himself. As you may already know, he has since then directed and produced a number of some of our most beloved Zelda titles. Mr. Aonuma is often pressed for info about upcoming Zelda titles, but you seldom hear of where his Zelda journey all began. Thanks to a recent interview from Game Informer, Aonuma was able to share a brief background that reveals how…

When I think about

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, one of the first things that comes to my mind is the three-day cycle. One of the things that the Zelda series has always lacked is a sense of urgency. The threat of a great evil almost seems to idly stand by on their plans for domination so you have time to stop by and catch the Hylian Loach. However, Majora’s Mask gives you a countdown clock and the visual representation of a falling moon that will ultimately…

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is without a doubt my favorite game in the series. The vast amount of collectibles, exciting puzzles and bosses, and dual-world dynamics made for the perfect adventure. This title was one of the greatest factors in why I wanted to have a life in gaming, in some form or fashion. According to the recent interview between Game Informer and Eiji Aonuma, A Link to the Past also had a major impact on the current director and producer of the Zelda series…

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D was released two weeks ago and is one of the most unique games in the franchise. Game Informer recently had a chance to interview Eiji Aonuma about the production of Majora’s Mask, as well as ask some questions about the lore and mechanics of the series as a whole. However, Game Informer also had the opportunity to grill Aonuma about other topics, such as his hobbies outside of video games and what games he enjoys…

As it turns out, Eiji Aonuma has a pretty fun time working at Nintendo. Speaking in an interview with Game Informer, Eiji Aonuma talked about something he and many other employees do together at Nintendo for fun. Surprisingly enough, what they like to do is get together and play music in a band. The band itself has grown to around 70 members strong and they do three in-office performances a year. That being said, Eiji Aonuma himself prefers percussion…in particular, playing the bongos. This was his inspiration for having Goron Link play the Bongos in Majora’s Mask
