Twilight Princess HD Officially Announced, Releasing March 4

During today’s Nintendo Direct, we received the long-awaited announcement of an HD remaster of Twilight Princess. This new enhanced remake of the Wii/GameCube classic will release on March 4th, 2016 for the
Twilight Princess HD will be available in a bundle with the newly announced Wolf Link amiibo. The bundle, which releases alongside the game, is available for pre-order right now. Fans that reserve a copy of this bundle will receive the game’s official soundtrack as a pre-order bonus.
Australian developer Tantalus will be supporting development of Twilight Princess HD. The screen orientation and map layout match those of the GameCube version of Twilight Princess, so it’s safe to assume that this will be a port will be of that version. With this in mind, Twilight Princess HD may exclude the motion controls seen in the Wii version.
