With fewer than three weeks until the release of Majora’s Mask 3D and the New 3DS XL in North America and Europe, the coveted remake and handheld console are only just out of reach. While some lucky individuals have been able to try out both at media events, the general public has had little, if any chance to give them a try. Luckily for our fans in Canada, Nintendo is amending this issue by bringing the two, along with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, to various Best Buy and Future Shop stories in various cities throughout the country.

The tour began on January 22nd and the remaining locations and dates are as follows:

Ontario

February 6: Future Shop, 2210 Bank St, Ottawa, 4 – 7 pm

If you are so lucky as to live close enough to these locations, make sure to get there early; there will be sign-up sheets at each location, and time slots with the game will be given on a first come, first served basis. Even if you don’t make it in time, you’ll still have a chance to enter to win a $50 gift card to either of the sponsoring stores, and you may also receive a Majora’s Mask key chains, while supplies last (unfortunately we do not yet have an image of it). For those who can not make any of the above events, fear not; more retail locations will be added in the near future.

Hopefully we’ll be seeing similar events come up in other regions as we get closer to release. For the time being, we’ll make sure to keep you updated once we learn more. Have any of you gotten in on this demo already? What were your impressions? Has your time with the new game and system convinced you to purchase one? Who will be attending these events in the next couple of weeks?
