It’s the weekend, ladies and gentlemen. And so begins another entry of Zelda Informer’s weekly Photoshop Contest. Next Tuesday will officially see the end of the latest United States presidential election, with one candidate taking his or her place in the Oval Office. With election season winding down, we wanted the contest this week to hold a special presidential theme, with your favorite Zelda characters engaged in the running. Share you skills, and don’t forget to see the winners of last week’s contest: Zelda Monster Party.

Last Week’s Contest:

We kicked off the Monster Mash and had ourselves a graveyard smash.

Winning Entries

Artist: Kayla White

Artist: Cory Myers

Challenge Mode

We wanted our monster party to have as many participants as possible. That’s why our Challenge Mode rules asked entrants to include at least five different Zelda monsters from our gallery, with WWE superstar The Undertaker thrown in for good measure. Artist Carlos Godfrey (of LTD Photography & Design, @ltdphotoninja) went above and beyond with his entry, showing off a bumpin’ celebration of the Zelda series’ best ghosts and ghoulies. This spooky nightclub is oozing with little details, and every monster is perfectly represented. With such a creative and detailed submission, there’s no doubt that Godfrey is our Challenge Mode winner this week.

This Week’s Contest: Turn a Zelda Character into a Presidential Candidate

The end the United States’ presidential election is fast approaching. But for many reasons not to be discussed here, both of the major candidates have seen their fair share of criticism; so much so that some may be looking for an alternative. In fact, I’m sure a few characters from the Zelda series could event be a good fit for the job.

As the title suggests, the contest this week is to turn a Zelda character into a presidential candidate. You can certainly put your favorite character on the podium, but you can also combine a current candidate with a Zelda character as well. There are images in the gallery below to get you started, but feel free to use anything you find on the internet.

I must emphasize Zelda Informer’s guidelines relating to the respect of others’ opinions. This contest is just for fun. Please respect the work, opinions, and political viewpoints of all participants.
