7.1 The Legendary Blade
- When you enter the castle you'll see that everything inside is also in black and white. You'll notice some frozen darknuts and moblins as well as a large statue of a swordsman in the middle of the room. When you walk down to the area past the statue the King of Red Lions will begin to talk to you to tell you that you need to get to the basement to find the item you're looking for.

Once completed, the pillars will sink into the ground and the statue will slide back, revealing a small opening in the ground. Go down the stairs and head towards the sword in the pedestal in the center of the room.

- Phantom Ganon will throw the balls of light at you to start off. Hit them back with your sword until they hit him. For any of you that have played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, this is the same basic principle. When you hit him with the light ball, he will fall. Rush in and attack him with your sword before he vanishes.

- After a couple hits, he will try and appear behind you and hit you with a spin attack. Quickly target him and use a parry attack. Once you hit him, he will be defeated and leave you alone.

- Link looks in cautiously for the Helmaroc King and heads over to Aryll. He attempts to break into the cell, but can't do it. Tetra and her pirates show up and open it up for him. Tetra notices that you have the Master Sword and asks Link where he got it from. The pirates take the girls and Tetra tells Link there's something he still needs to take care of. She promises to deliver Aryll back home safely, but Aryll doesn't want to go. Link waves to his sister and Tetra promises to return.

- She leaves and the place begins to fill with water and the Helmaroc King drops in. Turn to the right and start running up the ramp. If you roll the whole way you might be able to make it without having to use the grappling hook, but it is highly unlikely. If the Helmaroc King breaks a piece, use the Grappling Hook to get over it.

- It's best to ignore the Bokoblins while you ascend and just keep moving. When you reach the top, the Helmaroc King will try and block your path. Hit him with the Skull Hammer to move him. Now the real fun begins.

- Now he'll get angry and try and use his wings to blow you into the spikes on the wall, which will cause damage every time you hit them. Roll towards him to avoid being blown into the wall and wait for him to try and peck at you again. When he flies off and then comes back quickly, just run around because he will be trying to hit you from up above. Make him peck and get his head stuck in the ground again, then attack with your sword. A few of these attacks should defeat him.

- Komali and Quill come and rescue Link and Tetra and Valoo sets fire to the ship on the top of the Forsaken Fortress.
