Mr.Game and Watch has been a playable character since his debut in Melee, and also appeared in Brawl. Mr.Game and Watch will be making his third experience in the Smash series, according to GameXplain’s twitter page. We will have more details as they come but check out the tweet after the jump!

We know that many stages in Super Smash Bros. 4 are going to feature Final Destination style alternatives for more competitive play. Count the Gerudo Valley staged from the 3DS version among the included alterations. These stages always seemed a bit uninspired to me (the FD versions), but I know many fans will be happy about this. While most of the major Zelda related Smash news has been covered by us already, there are two tidbits we mentioned but never actually took a good look at. We change that today, as we introduce the Zelda down special attack that involves the Phantom (presumably from Spirit Tracks) and Stalfos, enemies from Ocarina of Time. Head inside.

The Zelda series is getting a lot of love in Smash Bros. 4, and part of that love includes three confirmed Zelda themed stages. The only one we know about on the Wii U version so far is Skyloft, with Gerudo Valley and Spirit Train appearing as stages for the 3DS version. We’ve seen all three stages before, but now we get a bit of a closer look with all new screenshots. Head inside to take a look!

It looks like Cuccos have found a new home on the stages of Super Smash Bros. In today’s Super Smash Bros. pic of the day, Massahiro Sakurai introduced cuccos as the newest item in the Super Smash Bros. series. The immense fury from an angry cucco has proven to be deadly in previous Zelda titles, who knows how much damage they’ll might deal to you or an opponent? Hyrule’s famous princess will be rejoining the cast of Super Smash Bros. for the flagship fighting series’ fourth entry. Princess Zelda will fight alongside Link and his young cel-shaded counterpart Toon Link in both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game. More after the jump.
