The YouTube account Smosh, which has over 3,000,000 subscribers and is the 3rd most subscribed channel on Youtube, recently made a Legend of Zelda Rap Music Video. The lyrics of the song are a bit vulgar, so it certainly isn’t for all audiences. Here we have another awkward commercial for Link’s Awakening. This commercial is a rap, which goes with the theme of the early-mid 90’s where rap was becoming more popular here in the United States. Nintendo must have tried to capitalize on this by incorporating rap into their video game commercials. The end result? Yet another Zelda commercial that we can look back on and laugh at.
