There are often a lot of comparisons between games like Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls, The Legend of Zelda, and any other high fantasy adventure/RPG type game. What we haven’t seen is a lot of crossover art. Today that changes, thanks to deviantArt user mintyfreshmangos. He decided to capture the essence of Dark Souls and Majora’s Mask in one piece of art, which was crafted as a piece of cover art for a crossover album of sorts. Head inside.

We’ve always been big fans of EternaLegend’s artwork over the years, but one of his more recent pieces may take the cake. A Link Between Worlds is a fantastic game, and now we have the entirety of the story laid before us in a single piece of art. It should obviously be noted there are spoilers here, but the art is so awesome, I think everyone can forgive that. Head inside to see his latest masterpiece.

Link’s Friendlist

March 03 2014 by Knowlee

Game-Art-HQ, the mastermind behind the famous Link’s Blacklist which was an art collaboration that consisted of artwork showcasing the enemies from The Legend of Zelda series, has now released a new collaboration of artworks. This time around however, instead of the showcasing the enemies, it is showing the friends and allies that Link encounters on his journey. This new collaboration is called Link’s Friendlist. To see some of the artwork that has been submitted to this collection thus far, please take…

For a long time people have been emulating and hacking their favorite games. And I would not be surprised if some time in the near future someone, somewhere created a hacked version of A Link to the Past and made it so you could become a painting such as that of A Link Between Worlds. This would be quite the undertaking but would be intersting to see new game elements in an older game, but since A Link Between Worlds…

During the 2013 Fangamer X Attract Mode show, many artists created fan art for their favourite games of all time and it is no surprise that Zelda artwork was featured at this event. But now there is an even bigger surprise, one of the Zelda artworks from the Fangamer X Attract Mode Show is for sale! The 14″ x 19.5″ print is made by Mingjue Helen Chen and it is on just in time for the holidays if you want to…

Hello everyone and welcome again to another installment of Zelda Artist Exposition—the biweekly editorial series where I feature a Zelda fan artist whom I think deserves recognition and praise. As always, please feel free to comment if you have a suggestion for an artist to feature. I again want to thank HyliaBeilschmidt, who I last featured, for her help. Today’s versatile but unfortunately concise artist is Zaphk of deviantART.

Welcome one and all to Zelda Artist Exposition. For those who do not know, this series of editorials is dedicated to featuring fan artists of Zelda. I wade through the pool of artists present on deviantART and other random websites and find artists whom I think are amazing and/or deserve more recognition. The goal of these features is to shine a well-deserved spotlight on artists as well as to spread the joy of art in general. As always, I welcome…

Over a month ago, Link’s Blacklist got a huge update and released the artwork that many artists and fans of the series had been working on over the summer. Just like previous releases for this project, this batch has some awesome artwork that shows off many of Link’s adversaries that he encounters throughout his adventures. For those that don’t know what Link’s Blacklist is, it is an ongoing project run by Game-Art-HQ that is a group effort by artists to…

Welcome one and all to Zelda Artist Exposition once again! Firstly, I’d like to thank you all for your supportive comments on the last Exposition post. It was nice to see so much support for Ferisae. Secondly, thanks to some much appreciated and thorough help from commenter and artist, HyliaBeilschmidt, and her Tumblr blog, many new names have been added to my list of artist to feature—nine total. So I would like to personally thank him or her for all…
