Except this week it’ll be you who brings the madness! That’s right, I’m glad to officially declare the first Zelda Dungeon Meme Making Contest open! The other day we announced a create-a-monster contest in conjunction with folks behind the Zelda documentary “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone… The Movie”. They are trying to raise the necessary funds to complete the project via kickstarter, but one of the neater aspects is that the official website itself contains a custom made game based upon The Legend of Zelda. This contest isn’t just some promotional mumbo jumbo – the enemies and bosses you design are going to be added to the game in all new levels as enemies that are standing in the way of the Movie’s creation. The best part is, you’ll be able to play it yourself for free! 

That means you will actually see your creation get included in a game you can play right in your web browser. Pretty neat, huh? If you want to submit a creation, simply ship off your idea, drawing, or other remarks to Info@theZeldaMovie.com. The granddaddy of our giveaways is now live, as we are giving away a WIi U console with a copy of The Wind Waker HD. The prizes themselves will be received upon the release of The Wind Waker HD, though some exceptions may be made to provide the Wii U console before that date (such as preferring a digital copy over retail, etc).  In either case, we have combined both of our sites together for this, and yes you will be required to be both on Facebook and Twitter to participate. The entrance mandatory stuff may seem steep, but this is a prize valued at $410, so we want to make sure we are fairly serving our Twitter and Facebook followers – who first entered this contest before we realized there were issues with Facebook’s policies.

Ahh Link’s legendary hat. How I long to wear one on a cold winter’s evening. As they say in Game of Throne’s, Winter is Coming (and may already be here if you are watching the latest season), and while we have now entered spring it is still trendy as ever to wear this hat.

Hey everyone, and welcome to our giveaway! As some may recall, we actually previously announced this giveaway with various ways to enter. Unfortunately, we weren’t conforming with all the legal mumbo jumbo across all avenues and had to take back our initial offering in order to avoid certain penalties under law. The Wind Waker HD may be several months away, but that hasn’t stopped us from starting our next giveaway! Last time we gave away a wooden “replica” of the Twilight Princess mastersword. This time, it’s a copy of the HD remastering of The Wind Waker which is arriving this fall. It’s a sweepstakes, which means anyone can enter and yes, in any country! So, what do you need to do to get a chance to win?
