Welcome to Majora’s Memes, where we bring you memetic madness weekly! Except this week it’ll be you who brings the madness!
That’s right, I’m glad to officially declare the first Zelda Dungeon Meme Making Contest open! Hit the jump for a recap of the rules, as well as some clarifications and additions!
There have been some modifications to the rules, which are now as follows:
1. The meme MUST be yours. We’re going on an honor system here, but if I happen to find a meme identical (or suspiciously similar) to yours, you’re disqualified.
2. The meme must be Zelda-related. The image doesn’t have to be Zelda-related necessarily, or the meme doesn’t have to be Zelda-related necessarily, but one of those has to be. Necessarily.
3. Entrants must be in by 5:00 a.m. EDT June 11 (exactly one week after this post). Entrants will be judged during the following week, with the Top 5 winners announced on June 18.
4. ANYONE can enter. Even Zelda Dungeon staff members!
5. There’s a three entry limit per person. Preferably, submit all at once to make judging easier.
6. Unfortunately, there’s no prize, but hey no pressure! The winner is simply the winner.
And with that, I declare the contest open! And just so I don’t go a week without giving you anything, here’s my “entry.” You can look at this as a sort of sample entry. And as a gauge of how many Arrested Development fans there are on Zelda Dungeon (and how many remember this minor meme).
