RUMOR: Majora’s Mask 3D Leaked?

Just earlier today, European game distributor GAME added a page to their website advertising and allowing pre-orders for Majora’s Mask 3D. Then, after that drew some internet attention, they promptly removed it. Please know that this may be–and most likely is–simply an error on their part. However, with a new Nintendo Direct coming Wednesday morning morning (4:00 AM PDT), we may finally see a formal Majora’s Mask 3D announcement.

As many of you know, Operation Moonfall has been working hard to get Majora’s Mask 3D onto store shelves as quickly as possible, and with this possible leak, we could be seeing it as early as this year. That would mean that the game has been in development for a while and Nintendo has been doing a good job of keeping it secret.

There is a new Nintendo Direct for Japan only scheduled for tomorrow morning (8:00 PM in their local time) said to be focusing exclusively on new 3DS and Wii games (there will be nothing about Wii U) and that is the most likely time before the end of the year to hear the big announcement. Since the time of writing, GAME has taken down the page.

Nintendo has stated previously that we will see a new Zelda before another remake. But has that stance changed? Could they have had Grezzo working on Majora’s Mask 3D since the release of Ocarina of Time 3D?

Is anyone impatient for this Nintendo Direct to see if we get an announcement? Are any of you doubting this leak is legitimate? Let us know in the comments below!
