Retail Demo Shows Off Amiibo Character Backstories

With Super Smash Bros. for Wii U just around the corner, new information on certain additions is not far away. As amiibo are one of the most talked about topics surrounding the game’s launch we’ve been receiving quite a bit of information the last couple weeks surrounding their release.

Yesterday, Nintendo Talking Toys presented us with an upload showing off the retail demo for amiibo, which offers introductory videos on all 12 launch figures. These fragments don’t necessarily cover the amiibo’s functions as much as it covers background information on each character. Link is, of course, among these, and his promotional clip starts out by recapping the history of The Legend of Zelda, in the all-too-familiar style of the recent Super Smash Bros. games. Furthermore, the film let’s us see every amiibo in high detail, showing off their final versions as well.
