Nintendo Switch is Getting a Smash Bros. Ultimate Hardware Bundle

In today’s Nintendo Direct, a new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hardware bundle was unveiled for Nintendo Switch. The dock sports the original eight cast members of the Nintendo 64 Smash Bros. roster emblazoned onto it, with their Ultimate costumes in full glory. And a pair of Smash-themed Joy-Cons flaunt the series’ iconic logo. The bundle will also include a download code for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which can be used when the game releases on December 7th.
The Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros. Ultimate set will launch on November 2nd, with pre-orders opening later today. Ultimate Edition GameCube controllers and GameCube controller adapters will also launch on November 2nd.
I’m pretty excited for this. Nintendo’s been hyping Ultimate up in the right way, and making a special edition GameCube controller is a good move in my opinion. They’ve gone above and beyond for this, and December can’t come soon enough for me.
