Recent Famitsu scans have revealed new details for Tri Force Heroes. Full-sized images of these scan be viewed in the gallery below.

Scan 1:

  • Japanese box art for the game, basically the same as every other region
  • Shows emoticons being helpful when using the totem
  • Image of the Samurai costume and a description next to it

Scan 2:

  • Images explaining the story: beautiful princess is cursed by a witch, the King begging Link to help
  • Art of the Princess, the King, the costume lady, a little boy with green hair, Carl King, the Witch, and their descriptions

Scan 3:

  • Various screenshots of levels already seen in the trailer
  • Shows the Links once again using emoticons while in totem form

Scan 4:

  • More emoticon usage, and screenshots of levels already seen
  • New screenshots of singleplayer mode

Scan 5:

  • Costume selection screen
  • Various costumes and their functions:
  1. The Bow outfit which shoots three arrows at once.
  2. The Samurai outfit which allows the player to perform a larger spin attack
  3. The Bomb outfit which causes bigger explosions when using bombs
  4. The Goron outfit that will not allow the player to take damage from lava
  5. The Zora outfit that allows the player to swim at high speeds
  6. The water outfit which allows the player to create giant splashes of water
  7. The Tingle outfit which allows the player to fly/glide using balloons

Scan 6:

  • Map of Tri Force Heroes‘ kingdom, with some parts clouded over
  • Various images of bosses
  • Various items in the game.
  • Various costumes and their functions:
  1. A blue costume with a crown which allows the Links to shoot ice-looking beams
  2. A Zelda dress which acts like a Heart Medal in Skyward Sword. It allows the Links to find hearts more often
  3. A King outfit; the image included shows the three Links wearing it and are surrounded by Rupees
