New Link Figurines Coming Soon

All the collectors out there should be happy about this bit of news. There are three new Link figurines that are going to be available soon. They will be Link from the first Legend of Zelda, The Wind Waker and also Skyward Sword. They are going to be three of a set of six that also include Mario figurines. They were sculpted by Yohei Kaneko, who seems to have done a fabulous job. Each figurine should be about two and a half inches tall. The colors used to make them are bright and cheerful. Late January 2013 is when they should be available in Japan. Currently you can pre-order them from AmiAmi. Each figurine is 730 JPY which is about nine dollars and some change in USD currency. The Legend of Zelda and Wind Waker Link figurines have that old cartoon retro look to them. I really love the way they look. Takes me back to memories of playing the game in my childhood. The stance and expressions show Link as a true hero. The price range on these is not super high like on some collectibles. I may actually get these for myself.
