Gorgeous Majora’s Mask Wallet

A few months ago we reported on a set of hand-made leather Deku Tree wallets made by Etsy user JakeV. Like most of Jake’s impressive leather works, the wallets were sold out before you could bat an eye. Nonetheless, the craftsmanship of his creations is always admirable whether the item is within your grasp or not, and such is the case today. A month ago Jake updated his shop with another wallet, this one modeled after Majora’s Mask. The piece is beautiful, and though it has already sold you can still take a look at his splendid work. Plus, you may yet have a chance at buying one for yourself! Make the jump to see.

The wallet is hand made, hand tooled, hand dyed… yeah, you get the point. A lot of labor went into this piece of leather-work, and it certainly paid off; the finished product is beautiful. Take a look below, or check out the original posting on Etsy for the full details.

Now, as I mentioned this wallet has already sold, which is a disappointment since I would have loved to own something this well-made and detailed. However, the artist himself commented on Destructoid about the wallet, stating that it sold for $65 and that in light of the attention it’s garnering he is working on four more pieces that he hopes to have ready next week.

Now, Jake also tends to make every piece unique, so it is not very likely that the pieces he is working on now are the same design as this one. I know, it’s a bummer. Nonetheless, it is likely that they will still be Zelda-themed and may very well be more Majora’s Mask-related works, so it is worth keeping an eye out for!
