Dorkly Bits: “Goodnight, Termina Moon”

Dorkly recently posted a new video called “Goodnight, Termina Moon” in the art style of A Link to the Past. The video is a line-for-line parody of the childrens’ book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown which many adults have probably been read in their childhood. Link is asleep in the Stock Pot Inn while the narrator describes the items in the room, even the strange hand sticking out of the toilet in a calm, soothing voice. Looks like Links is getting a good night’s sleep and seems to be comforted by the narration as it is practically a Majora’s Mask version of the book. All appears to be fine and dandy, but then of course the Moon from Majora’s Mask is far from ordinary. Make the jump to watch the video and laugh until your insides burst.
Interestingly enough, Link has possession of Majora’s Mask in the video. Too bad that didn’t stop the Moon from plummeting into the land. Perhaps it wasn’t such a good idea to sleep on the job, especially when you only have 72 hours to complete it.
