A Newcomer’s Impression of Ocarina of Time – Jamie Plays Zelda

Have you ever tried to introduce a close friend to the Legend of Zelda? In particular somebody who loves to play video games, but for whatever reason has missed out on the Zelda series? My good friend Jamie is that person. Having played through the Legend of Zelda as a young child on the NES, Jamie has gone nearly 30 years without playing a new Zelda game. That is until now. After all these years Jamie has finally picked up Ocarina of Time 3D and his playthrough is part of a new series titled Jamie Plays Zelda.
In this first episode, Jamie and I discuss his struggles through the early portion of game as he tries to navigate through the Kokiri Forest and the Great Deku Tree. Many of the obstacles that he ran into will sound very reminiscent to what many of us got stuck on when we first played the game.
