Koei Tecmo on Female Link Art from Hyrule Warriors

A few weeks back we got a glimpse of the art book from Hyrule Warriors which showcased a female Link character. Koei Tecmo has responded to all the feedback it got with one of their most recent tweets. The tweet was in Japanese, but here is what they had to say about the female character, who they refer to as Linkle.

 

“Linkle (tentative name) was a rejected story character featured in the art book, but it looks like she got a quite lot of attention… maybe we should have included her in the main story…”

Perhaps with all the discussion it triggered, maybe it is something that Koei Tecmo will consider for DLC?
