Shigeru Miyamoto was recently in New York promoting the New Super Mario Bros for the Nintendo, and because of this, he took part in numerous interviews. Yesterday we reported on his interview with Popular Mechanics and most recently, we have one with MTV News.

Miyamoto says that the Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass allowed many gamers to play a Zelda game for the very first time, and with Spirit Tracks, he wants to try to take even more advantage of the uniqueness of the Nintendo DS Hardware. Miyamoto was also asked about the newest Zelda title for the Nintendo Wii and while he said there was nothing new to reveal, he did say, “but it’s very fun to move your body around.”

It sure seems like Spirit Tracks is going to play very similarly to Phantom Hourglass, but with even more Stylus based puzzles. In terms of Zelda Wii, the small hint sure makes it seem that motion plus will be very much involved with the next Zelda on the Wii.
