Daily Debate: Which Zelda Enemy Would Be the Best For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?

Most Zelda fans can agree that the Super Smash Bros. series has been lacking fresh Zelda content since the release of Super Smash Bros. Melee on the gamecube. We’d love to see a brand new character with a unique move set.

From the moment Piranha Plant was announced I was impressed. It got my imagination going! If Nintendo can take such a simple enemy from the Mario series and give him a distinct quirky play style, I thought, why couldn’t they do that with a Zelda enemy? There are so many fun possibilities! From Octoroks to Guardians the options are limitless. Guardians are my favorite Zelda enemies of all time, but the main Guardian design is a little too big to be a Smash character in my opinion. That’s why I cast my vote for the Guardian Scout. I think they’d play similar to a zoner character like Link but have a quirky robotic movement.  You could also switch their weapon load out on command similar to the new Min Min Arms character.

So Sakuri here’s my official character design. Please make the Guardian Scout playable in Smash. They’d be a mix of Link, R.O.B. and Min Min.
