Daily Debate: What Zelda Spin-Offs Would You Like to See?

While the Zelda series has traditionally stuck well within the action/adventure genre, with only a few forays into new territory such as Link’s Crossbow Training and  Freshly-Picked Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland. Recently, however, Zelda characters have started appearing in more varied genres, such as the Hyrule Warriors series, and even Link appearing in other titles such as Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Maker 2.

It’s clear, then, that Nintendo isn’t afraid to experiment with their property by using them in unfamiliar settings. However, if you had your way, which Zelda spin off would you create? Maybe you’d stick with Nintendo’s strategy of simply dropping the Hero into other series as cameos, like finding him in the background of a new Punch Out! title, or making some sort of cameo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons next year.

Or perhaps you’d like Nintendo to go the full hog (if you pardon the pun) and create a full blown Zelda themed spin off, such as the series’ own racing title? I’d personally like to see another sort of rhythm game, Rhythm Heaven style, with a Zelda lick of paint. Of course, I wouldn’t say no to any other type of Zelda rep, so let us know your thoughts in the comments!
