There are certain songs that can bring a smile to your face. These songs fill your soul with an infectious joy and each listening experience feels special. The Legend of Zelda is fortunate to have an abundance of wonderful songs that give fans these incredible vibes. This list includes Wind Waker’s title screen theme, which has entered mythic status in terms of Zelda music.
This arrangement by Banjo Guy Ollie completely captures the joyful and adventurous atmosphere of The Wind Waker. Banjo Guy Ollie uses a variety of instruments including an accordion, banjo, ukulele, recorder, and drum to create a rich and layered composition. The artist’s choice of instruments create a sound that is similar to original “Title Theme” composition from the 2003 GameCube original, but clearly richer and more nuanced.
This is a beautiful rendition of the song that introduces the gamer to Link’s joyful adventure. If this song doesn’t put a smile on your face then I don’t know what will!
