The Zelda series is widely known for its epic adventures and timeless tales. However, in between the lines of these wonderous quests lies deep-seeded tones of darkness. From the Usurper King Zant, to the warped mind of Ghirahim, to the obvious big bad guy known as Ganon, darkness has always been a constant concurrent in the series.
Enter the dark form of ZeldaMaster, who believes the only Zelda game to be a truly dark tale from beginning to end is Majora’s Mask. Whether it’s the obvious image of a gigantic moon threatening to wipe out the land of Termina in three days, or the fact that the Skull Kid has caused so much despair and heartache thanks to Majora’s Mask, it is obvious that this tale isn’t all sunshine or rainbows. The YouTuber goes much more in-depth in the video above as to what truly makes this a sad, dark entry in the Zelda series.
